Does feeling more gratitude make you more flexible mentally?
There has been much research on how positive emotions relate to cognitive flexibility, but little research has looked at gratitude specifically. First, we conducted a pilot study where we trialled a gratitude induction method. Then, we ran the main study where participants were randomly assigned to either a gratitude condition or control condition, and were then tested on their cognitive flexibility.
