Nature exposure & executive functioning

Nature has long been known for its restorative effects, and rightfully so. Numerous studies have shown that exposure to natural environments can improve memory and attention. Yet, the advancement of technology has made us wonder if the same effect can be achieved through virutal means in the comfort of our own homes, just by looking at pictures of nature. To test this, our study examines the effect of viewing images of different sceneries on an individual's inhibitory control.
