Optimism &

emotional reactivity

"Always look on the bright side of life!" We investigated whether optimists were less emotionally reactive to daily stressors (e.g. arguments with family members, work stress) than pessimists. Our sample consisted of over 1,000 adults from the US and we carried out data analyses through mutilevel modelling with multiple imputation.
